I was feeling pleased with an analogy I had made comparing brands to houses, which in the age of Web 2.0, suddenly anyone can enter. Meaning brands now have to be “always on” and have to work out how to best gain value in being so permanently accessible.

So, I thought I’d Google this “open house” comparison and see if anyone else had made the same analogy recently. This led me to discovering an incredible mass of brand and social media metaphors made over this year.  Short of an analogy? Take your pick…
